Senior Associate - Business Development

About the role

Kastrati Group, one of Albania's largest private conglomerates with investments in hydrocarbons, aviation, hospitality, real estate, energy, automotive and infrastructure, is hiring a Senior Associate for its Business Development Department. The department assesses new business opportunities, evaluates potential investments, leads strategic market research and prepares recommendations for senior management. The Senior Associate independently leads financial and commercial analyses and coordinates workstreams supporting strategic investments.

Key responsibilities

• Lead market research, competitive benchmarking and opportunity assessments, and develop strategic insights and risk assessments.
• Build, maintain and review financial models and scenario analyses; assess financial statements, feasibility studies, KPIs and investment returns.
• Draft and review commercial proposals, LOIs and term sheets, coordinate due diligence and prepare for negotiations.
• Manage workstreams across departments and advisors, own timelines and deliverables, and communicate with stakeholders.
• Produce executive-ready investment briefs, presentations and decision papers for senior management.
• Monitor project performance against assumptions and identify risks, value drivers and improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics or a related field; master's degree optional.
• 3-5 years of experience in financial, strategic, investment or analytical roles.
• Ownership of business cases, financial analysis, project workstreams and executive-level deliverables.
• Excellent written and spoken English and executive-level communication.

Required skills

• Strong Excel financial modelling, investment appraisal and sensitivity analysis.
• PowerPoint and ability to create decision-ready materials.
• Familiarity with feasibility studies, due diligence and negotiations is an advantage.
