Senior Accountant

About the role

LMC is looking for a Staff/Senior Accountant to join its Tirana office. The role offers a dynamic, team‑oriented environment where you will handle a variety of accounting assignments and support the finance function.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain financial reports, records and general ledger accounts.
• Prepare and oversee journal entries, analyses, account reconciliations and assist with monthly close processes.
• Organise financial data for accounts payable and receivable and conduct internal audits.
• Perform monthly balance‑sheet reconciliations and ensure timely processing of meetings and reports.
• Respond to information requests, review financial statements and assist with external audits.
• Support the accounting services department as needed and monitor work‑in‑progress against budget.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• ACCA or CPA qualification preferred.
• 1–5 years of professional accounting experience.
• QuickBooks experience preferred.
• Strong numeracy, analytical and computer skills, especially advanced MS Excel.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English.
• Ability to manage deadlines, handle confidential information and work additional hours during tax season.
