Senior Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to lead financial reporting, planning and risk management for our Albanian operations and associated group entities abroad. The role combines oversight of statutory statements, internal controls and strategic financial analysis to support senior management and the Board.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow) in accordance with Albanian GAAP and relevant international standards.
• Maintain and test internal control frameworks, conduct internal audits and liaise with external auditors for all entities.
• Develop annual budgets, consolidated financial models and performance dashboards, monitoring KPIs across the group.
• Identify financial risks (currency, credit, economic) and implement mitigation strategies, including hedging and diversified funding.
• Manage capital budgeting, cash‑flow forecasting and debt‑management activities on a consolidated basis.
• Ensure compliance with Albanian tax regulations and applicable international tax rules.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• ACCA certification.
• Proven experience in accounting, preferably in a supervisory or senior role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations and tax laws.
• Excellent analytical, communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Fluent English.

• Proficiency with accounting software.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
