Part-Time Worship Pastor

About the role

Providence Baptist Church is seeking a part‑time Worship Pastor to lead and enrich its weekly worship services. The role blends musical leadership with spiritual mentorship, supporting the church’s mission through worship.

Key responsibilities

• Select and prepare music for each worship service in collaboration with the senior pastor.
• Direct and conduct rehearsals, ensuring musical and spiritual depth.
• Create an engaging, reverent worship atmosphere that reflects the church’s theological style.
• Integrate diverse musical genres to serve a varied congregation.
• Train and equip the church choir and involve congregation members in worship development.
• Prepare music for special services such as Christmas and Easter.
• Attend all scheduled weekly services and related discipleship sessions.

Required profile

• Strong commitment to the Christian faith and worship theology.
• Calling to Gospel ministry by Jesus Christ.
• Leadership and interpersonal abilities to work with teams and congregants.
• Willingness to attend multiple weekly worship and training gatherings.

Required skills

• Proficiency in vocal and instrumental music.
