Lead Go Developer

About the role

Andersen is looking for a Lead Go Developer to design and evolve a high‑performance, scalable distributed platform for an international financial services client. The role focuses on delivering reliable backend solutions, collaborating closely with product and engineering teams, and ensuring the system can support rapid product growth.

Key responsibilities

• Design and evolve scalable distributed systems in Go, selecting appropriate concurrency models.
• Translate high‑level business goals into technical plans and delivery roadmaps.
• Identify edge cases, risks, and technical constraints early in the planning phase.
• Represent the engineering team in meetings with external stakeholders, communicating technical topics in business‑centric terms.
• Lead code reviews for senior engineers, enforcing high standards for quality, resilience, and reliability.
• Drive improvements in CI/CD pipelines and engineering processes to ship high‑quality code faster.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional Go development experience.
• At least 2 years in a leadership or team‑lead role.
• Higher education in Computer Science or a related field.
• Experience working in fintech or banking domains with complex integrations.
• Advanced level of English.

Required skills

• Go programming language.
• Concurrency patterns in Go (goroutines, channels, sync primitives).
• System design for high performance and maintainability.
• CI/CD tools and pipelines (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
