About the role
The Bank seeks an experienced lawyer to provide legal advice and support across its business and operational activities, ensuring compliance and protecting the Bank’s interests.
Key responsibilities
- Provide legal assistance and advice on the Bank’s products, services, projects and initiatives.
- Draft, review and negotiate banking and commercial contracts and other legal documentation.
- Prepare legal opinions, risk assessments and represent the Bank in judicial and administrative proceedings.
- Support lending, procurement, asset disposal and other processes with legal implications.
- Monitor legal and regulatory developments and assess their impact on the Bank.
Required profile
- Minimum five years of professional experience in law firms, banking, financial institutions or related public agencies.
- University degree in Law and a Master of Science in Law (GPA above 8.5 preferred).
- Active Attorney‑at‑Law license is a significant advantage.
- Excellent command of English; knowledge of Italian is a plus.
Required skills
- In‑depth knowledge of civil, commercial, banking, financial, property, obligations and contract law.
- Strong drafting, negotiation and legal research abilities.
- Ability to analyse case law, identify legal risks and propose solutions.
- High professional integrity, ethics and discretion.
