Junior Operations Manager

About the role

As a Junior Operations Manager you will support AUTO1 Group’s European Operations teams by handling administrative and operational processes linked to vehicle purchasing, payments, invoicing and merchant management. You will work closely with international stakeholders to ensure smooth daily operations and help resolve process‑related requests.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily operational and administrative requests from international teams, including processing invoices, credit notes, payment blockers and releases.
• Validate banking information and supporting documentation, review VAT requests, pro‑forma payments and invoice confirmations.
• Monitor purchase and merchant‑related issues, support transport coordination and documentation, and ensure timely resolution.
• Communicate with internal stakeholders across multiple European markets and identify process‑improvement opportunities.
• Assist with onboarding and training of new team members when required.

Required profile

• Very good written and spoken English.
• Strong organisational and communication abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Previous experience in Operations, Administration, Finance Support, Customer Support or Back Office is an advantage.
