Junior Associate – Onsite Technology Support (Part‑time)

About the role

As part of Enterprise Technology, the On‑site Technology Support team helps customers fulfil their purposes and contributes to building a better working world by delivering fit‑for‑purpose support services. The Junior Associate will provide onsite assistance to end users, handling a variety of hardware and software issues in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate and support deployment of hardware and software to end users, including installation, configuration and testing of complex firm hardware.
• Manage provisioning and de‑provisioning processes for new hires and departing employees, setting up and receiving hardware/software.
• Assist with repair of end‑user hardware and reinstallation of software to resolve incidents.
• Resolve incidents related to firm‑standard end‑user software, hardware and mobile/hand‑held technologies.
• Perform asset‑management activities such as procurement, inventory tracking and distribution in line with EY Technology policies.
• Provide after‑hours service for escalated issues and support off‑site technology needs for firm‑sponsored meetings and office moves.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience (desirable).
• Up to 1 year of experience in end‑user technology support.
• Strong analytical abilities to address and prioritize individual user incidents.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and time‑management skills with a customer‑service mindset.
• Ability to work effectively with users at all levels and collaborate with IT personnel.
