About the role

Balfin Construction is seeking a Geodesy Engineer specialized in infrastructure projects. The role involves planning and executing special topographic surveys, supporting engineering objects, and managing volume calculations throughout the construction lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Control and ensure project implementation according to the approved construction permit.
• Conduct topographic and geodetic surveys required for project execution.
• Monitor construction activities closely, guaranteeing compliance with design specifications.
• Prepare as‑built documentation after completion of works.
• Establish and maintain a geodetic baseline for the duration of the project.
• Perform preliminary volume calculations and comparisons before work commences.
• Compile measurement books and situational reports for excavation and filling operations.

Required profile

• University degree in Geodesy.
• Minimum three years of experience in a similar construction or surveying environment.
• Strong knowledge of occupational safety and health standards.
• Familiarity with urban planning legislation.
• Ability to identify, report problems and propose practical solutions.
• Energetic, initiative‑driven and capable of working effectively in a team.
• Excellent communication skills with clear expression of ideas.
