German Teacher – Start August 2026 in Tirana

About the role

We are seeking a German Teacher to join an international school in Tirana, Albania, starting August 2026. The role involves delivering German language instruction to motivated students within a supportive, multicultural environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging German lessons across reading, writing, speaking and comprehension.
• Utilise creative strategies, cultural immersion and interactive activities to enhance learning.
• Collaborate with local and international staff to support the school’s curriculum.
• Adapt teaching to international curricula such as IGCSE and A Level where applicable.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in German Language, Linguistics, Education or related field; teaching certification (PGCE, QTS or equivalent) preferred.
• Experience teaching German in an international school setting, ideally with IGCSE and A Level programmes.
• Native or near‑native German fluency and strong command of English.
• Proven ability to create engaging lessons that develop language skills.
