Full‑stack Technical Lead (Java + React)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Technical Lead / Full‑Stack Engineer to drive the design and delivery of innovative full‑stack applications for a strategic partner in integrated shipping services. You will mentor engineers, shape architecture, and stay hands‑on with code.

Key responsibilities

• Guide and mentor full‑stack engineers, championing XP practices and high code quality.
• Lead architectural design, ensuring scalability, security, and alignment with business goals.
• Establish CI/CD pipelines, testing standards (TDD/BDD), and robust DevOps processes.
• Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical strategies.
• Write code, perform remote pairing, and own the full development lifecycle from design to deployment.

Required profile

• BS in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 6+ years of full‑stack development experience, including technical leadership.
• Strong leadership, problem‑solving, and critical‑thinking abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written English.

Required skills

• Java, Spring, Java Streams, functional programming.
• React, Reactive JS, front‑end development (2+ years).
• JUnit, Jasmine, Mockito, Protractor/Selenium, TDD/BDD.
• Microservices architecture, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud.
• Jenkins, DevOps, CI/CD pipelines.
• Kubernetes, Cloud Foundry, container‑based deployments.
• Design concepts: service discovery, circuit breakers.
• Kotlin (advantage).
