Fine Jewellery Host

About the role

The Fine Jewellery Host will be the public face of the SEVEN brand onboard cruise ships, creating memorable guest experiences through storytelling, events and personalised sales interactions. You will live at sea as part of a close‑knit retail team, engaging high‑potential guests and turning engagement into fine jewellery sales.

Key responsibilities

• Own the day‑to‑day delivery of the SEVEN voyage programme, hosting seminars, presentations and theatre‑style events.
• Generate guest traffic through ship‑wide events, VIP invitations, cabin drops, raffles and referrals.
• Identify, qualify and build relationships with high‑potential guests, securing appointments and delivering personalised experiences.
• Collaborate with the sales team, Retail Manager and Fine Jewellery Sales Coach to convert engagement into sales while maintaining a pressure‑free experience.
• Plan, promote and run the voyage event programme end‑to‑end, capturing leads and following up on opportunities.
• Track performance against targets, analyse results and adjust plans to maximise commercial opportunities.

Required profile

• Minimum two years experience in cruise‑line or luxury retail, preferably fine jewellery, with a proven record of high‑value sales and event hosting.
• Excellent public speaking and presentation abilities, comfortable hosting seminars and theatre‑style events.
• Strong storytelling talent, able to connect product design, craftsmanship and gemstones to guests’ personal stories.
• Resilient, adaptable and able to take ownership in a fast‑paced, international environment.
• Fluent spoken and written English with professional communication skills.
