Finance Specialist

About the role

DUA Kredi, a licensed micro‑finance institution in Albania, is expanding its finance team. We are looking for an accurate and organized Finance Specialist to support daily accounting and reporting activities.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and record accounting entries in the system with complete supporting documentation.
• Control supplier invoices, prepare payment files and payment orders for approval.
• Perform monthly reconciliations of banks, cash, suppliers, payroll and long‑term assets.
• Produce daily liquidity reports and contribute to cash‑flow forecasting.
• Assist in monthly and annual closing, calculate provisions as required by the Bank of Albania and reconcile with the general ledger.
• Prepare draft quarterly reports for the Bank of Albania (SRU) and perform reconciliation checks.
• Calculate payroll, tax declarations in e‑Filing (VAT, withholding tax, etc.).
• Maintain invoice and asset registers, calculate depreciation, archive documents and support internal and external audits.

Required profile

• Bachelor or Master degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics.
• 2–4 years of accounting experience; experience in banking, micro‑finance or audit is a strong advantage.
• Good knowledge of Albanian tax legislation and e‑Filing procedures.
• Familiarity with IFRS and Bank of Albania regulations for financial institutions.
• Advanced Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, reconciliations).
• Proficiency in English at least B2 level.
• High accuracy, integrity and ability to meet deadlines in a small team.
