Electrical Design Engineer

About the role

The Electrical Design Engineer is responsible for designing and planning electrical systems in civil projects, ensuring functionality, safety, and compliance with standards and project requirements. The role involves creating electrical designs for buildings, preparing documentation, and supporting construction phases.

Key responsibilities

• Design electrical systems for buildings, including power supply, lighting, grounding, fire protection, and low‑voltage systems.
• Prepare electrical drawings, bills of quantities (BOQ), and technical specifications.
• Coordinate technical‑legal documentation to obtain necessary permits.
• Update execution projects and provide on‑site technical solutions as needed.
• Prepare technical documentation for procurement packages.
• Coordinate with civil, mechanical, and architectural teams.
• Review and approve shop drawings.
• Provide technical support during construction.
• Identify and resolve issues that arise on site.
• Optimize projects for cost, efficiency, and sustainability.

Required profile

• University degree in Electrical Engineering.
• At least 5 years of experience in electrical design.
• Proficient use of AutoCAD and the MS Office suite.
