DevOps Engineer – Automation & Cloud

About the role

You will join a dedicated, flexible team that collaborates closely with software engineers, product delivery experts, and the ICT department. Your main mission is to automate and streamline the company’s operations and processes while ensuring reliable deployments.

Key responsibilities

• Develop new features and write scripts for the CI/CD toolchain using Groovy, Java, or Bash.
• Manage infrastructure as code and maintain version‑controlled configurations.
• Own system reliability, deployment flow, and overall automation strategy.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure issues and resolve build or deployment failures.
• Evaluate, integrate, and scale new DevOps tools as needed.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or cloud infrastructure.
• Background as a System Administrator on Windows and/or Linux, including troubleshooting, patching, and basic networking.
• Fluent in Italian and English.

Required skills

• CI/CD platforms such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
• Scripting in Groovy and Bash.
• Version control with Git and build automation using Gradle.
• Programming with Java 21+ and Node.js/npm.
• Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Containerization and artifact repository management (Artifactory or Nexus).
• Monitoring and observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK Stack.
• Infrastructure‑as‑Code tools (Terraform, Ansible).
• DevSecOps practices: secrets management, dependency/container scanning, SBOM, signing, and least‑privilege IAM.
