Data Engineering Graduate Program – Databricks

About the role

We are looking for recent graduates or junior candidates to join Lutech’s Data Engineering & Databricks Academy in the Balkans. The program offers a structured pathway to develop a career in data engineering, cloud technologies and modern data platforms through a blend of theory, hands‑on labs and real‑world use cases.

Key responsibilities

• Follow a curated training curriculum covering Python programming, SQL, ETL/ELT processes and data‑pipeline design.
• Participate in practical exercises on data warehouses, data lakes, batch and streaming processing using Microsoft Azure and Databricks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics or related STEM field.
• Basic knowledge of Python and SQL, familiarity with cloud concepts and version‑control tools such as Git.
• Analytical mindset, strong motivation to learn and ability to work collaboratively in an international team.

Required skills

• Python programming.
• SQL (SELECT, JOIN, GROUP BY, CTE, etc.).
• Understanding of ETL/ELT, data warehouses and data lakes.
• Knowledge of data pipelines, batch and streaming processing.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure (or AWS/Google Cloud) and Databricks.
• Git version‑control basics.
