Data Engineer

About the role

The Data Engineer will join the Data Analytics team, reporting to the Senior Director of Marketing and Advanced Analytics. The role bridges IT and Advanced Analytics, turning raw data infrastructure into business‑ready intelligence.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain data pipelines between source systems and analytical databases.
• Implement engineering best practices for sustainable, scalable delivery.
• Collaborate with solution architects, data modelers, BI analysts and product managers on solution design.
• Identify MVPs and drive iterative design in an agile framework.
• Define business rules for data extraction and assess functional and technical risks.
• Develop queries for data profiling, validation, testing assumptions and quality assessment.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.
• 2‑3 years proven experience as a Data Engineer.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
