Cards Operations Team Leader (Back‑Office Transformation)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Cards Operations Team Leader to drive the transformation of our card back‑office functions. The role will ensure efficient resource allocation, support strategic projects, and maintain high‑quality service across ATM and POS operations.

Key responsibilities

• Support the delivery of strategic projects and the overall transformation of card operations.
• Serve as the primary liaison between the operational team and project stakeholders.
• Coach, train, and guide team members on all card‑related processes to ensure competence and continuity.
• Maintain operational continuity and resolve issues promptly.
• Oversee daily cards reconciliation activities.
• Coordinate and supervise ATM/POS reconciliation and chargeback processes.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in card back‑office operations, including Visa and Mastercard schemes, reconciliation, settlement, ATM and POS handling.
• Strong knowledge of chargeback rules and the ability to manage disputes while complying with scheme regulations.
• Proven leadership and project‑management skills, with a track record of driving transformation, automation, and change initiatives.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Fluent English; Italian is a plus.
