AI Software Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an AI Software Engineer with at least 2 years of hands‑on experience to design, build, and deploy AI‑powered solutions that address real business challenges. You will collaborate with data and business stakeholders to move AI initiatives from prototype to production.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and launch AI/ML applications and features, guiding them from prototype through production.
• Integrate large language models (OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, open‑source models) into internal tools and customer‑facing products.
• Build and maintain retrieval‑augmented generation (RAG) pipelines, embeddings, and vector‑search systems.
• Develop prompts, evaluation frameworks, and guardrails to ensure AI outputs are accurate, safe, and reliable.
• Partner with business stakeholders to identify high‑value use cases and translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Monitor deployed AI systems for performance, drift, cost, and accuracy, iterating based on real‑world data.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, AI/ML, or a related field.
• 3+ years of professional experience in software engineering, machine‑learning engineering, or applied AI.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical trade‑offs to non‑technical stakeholders.

Required skills

• Python and SQL programming.
• Experience with APIs and backend services.
• Hands‑on work with LLMs (prompt engineering, fine‑tuning, RAG/CAG architectures).
• Proficiency in AI/ML frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, PyTorch, or TensorFlow.
• Experience with vector databases like Pinecone, Weaviate, or pgvector.
• Version control (Git), testing, CI/CD, and code‑review practices.
• Cloud platform experience, preferably Azure.
• Working knowledge of Snowflake or comparable cloud data warehouses.
