Transformation Business Analyst

About the role

The Transformation Business Analyst will support the delivery of business transformation initiatives within a banking environment. Acting as a bridge between business units, IT, project management and external vendors, the role ensures that requirements are clearly defined, documented and aligned with strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse current business processes and identify opportunities for optimisation, automation and continuous improvement.
• Engage with stakeholders across Business, IT, Operations, Risk and Compliance to gather and prioritise requirements.
• Conduct As‑Is/To‑Be analyses, identify gaps, and design improved operating models.
• Document functional specifications, user stories, process flows and acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, PMO, IT teams and vendors to keep deliverables, risks and milestones aligned.
• Support prioritisation, solution assessment and business impact analysis.
• Assist with UAT, test scenario creation, defect resolution and business readiness activities.
• Ensure regulatory, governance and compliance considerations are incorporated.
• Prepare process maps, presentations and management documentation for transformation governance.
• Participate in post‑implementation reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of analysis practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, IT, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Business Analysis, Transformation, Process Improvement or Digital Transformation; banking or financial services experience is a plus.
• Proven ability to translate business needs into clear requirements and functional specifications.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Excellent communication skills and a structured approach to change implementation.
