Kubernetes & Cloud Platform Specialist

About the role

Engineering Albania is seeking a Kubernetes & Cloud Platform Specialist to join its international team. The role focuses on administering, automating and optimizing production Kubernetes environments across cloud and on‑premises infrastructures while ensuring high reliability and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and optimise production Kubernetes platforms (Rancher/RKE2, AKS/EKS) in cloud and on‑premises settings.
• Automate infrastructure and operations using Ansible, Bash, Terraform/OpenTofu and Infrastructure as Code practices.
• Manage CI/CD and GitOps pipelines with GitLab CI, ArgoCD, Helm and Kustomize.
• Support Azure cloud networking, security groups, load balancers, application gateways and WAF solutions.
• Troubleshoot production incidents across Kubernetes, Linux, networking and cloud layers.
• Implement observability using Prometheus, Grafana and centralized logging, and participate in on‑call rotations and incident post‑mortems.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in Platform Engineering, Cloud Operations or DevOps.
• Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills.
• Fluent professional English; Italian is a plus.
