Human Resources Manager

About the role

Mektrin Motors is looking for a Human Resources Manager to lead the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding to performance management and off‑boarding. The role is full‑time, on‑site in Durrës, and will shape HR policies in line with company goals and Albanian labour law.

Key responsibilities

• Manage recruitment, selection and onboarding processes.
• Develop and oversee performance appraisal systems.
• Handle employee relations and address HR issues.
• Draft, update and implement HR policies and ensure legal compliance.
• Support managers with workforce planning and decision‑making.
• Coordinate training, professional development and career‑path programs.
• Maintain confidential employee documentation and data.
• Work with Finance on payroll, benefits and other administrative matters.
• Drive change‑management initiatives and foster a positive organisational culture.

Required profile

• Proven experience in core HR functions, including recruitment, performance management and employee relations.
• Strong knowledge of HR policy drafting and Albanian labour legislation.
• Excellent organisational, time‑management and problem‑solving abilities.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience coordinating training programmes and workforce planning.
• Familiarity with HR systems, Microsoft Office and data‑reporting tools.
• Professional HR certifications are a plus.
• Previous HR manager or senior HR generalist role, preferably in automotive, transport or related sectors.
• Fluent in Albanian and English.
