About the role

The University of Luarasi is seeking a qualified academic leader to head its Business Administration Department within the Faculty of Economics for the 2024‑2025 academic year. The position involves full‑time responsibility for both academic and administrative functions, ensuring the department meets institutional standards and labour‑market needs.

Key responsibilities

• Direct, organize and supervise the academic and administrative activities of the Business Administration Department.
• Develop and implement strategic plans aimed at the department’s growth and quality improvement.
• Ensure academic quality aligns with university standards and the demands of the job market.
• Update curricula to reflect market trends and academic requirements.
• Support faculty members in professional development and scientific research.
• Coordinate academic and administrative tasks across the Faculty of Economics.
• Streamline and improve internal administrative processes.

Required profile

• Albanian citizenship with full civil capacity.
• PhD (Doctor of Sciences) in Economics.
• Graduated from the Faculty of Economics.
• At least three years of full‑ or part‑time teaching experience at higher education institutions.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English.
• No criminal conviction, ongoing investigation, or disciplinary measures.
• Good health status.
