Automotive Engineer – Graduate Program

About the role

KINETON Albania is looking for recent graduates to join its Automotive sector through the Kineton Academy training program. You will work on the V‑Cycle development process, gaining hands‑on experience with verification, validation, HIL testing and vehicle diagnostics for a range of power‑train and ECU applications.

Key responsibilities

• Perform Verification & Validation testing to ensure software complies with automotive regulatory standards, covering internal combustion, electric engines and ADAS/Infotainment systems.
• Execute Hardware‑in‑the‑Loop (HIL) testing using configurable I/O interfaces and simulation models from vendors such as dSPACE, Vector, NI and MathWorks.
• Conduct vehicle diagnostics and troubleshooting, analysing fault codes, ECU behaviour and system interactions.
• Participate in on‑site client activities, including international assignments for vehicle testing, validation and diagnostics.

Required profile

• Degree in Automation, Mechatronics, Computer Science, Electronics or Electrical Engineering.
• Knowledge of electrical engineering, digital and analog electronics, electrical machines and automatic controls.
• Proficiency in programming and modelling languages: MATLAB, Simulink, C/C++ and Python.
• Good command of Italian and English, strong team orientation and willingness to travel internationally.
