Project Coordinator - Inclusive Growth Portfolio

About the role

UNDP Albania is recruiting a Project Coordinator in Tirana, working under the direct supervision of the Programme Specialist for the Inclusive Growth portfolio. The role covers the day-to-day management and coordination of all project components, personnel, resources, partnerships and results. The project supports the Government of Albania's 'Dyfisho Sipërmarrjen Tënde' programme, which helps micro, small and medium-sized enterprises access investment loans through a sovereign guarantee, and includes a Technical Assistance Facility that helps businesses prepare strong investment proposals.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a project team and supervise project staff and consultants, ensuring timely delivery of outputs and credible performance assessments
• Develop detailed project work plans and mobilize goods and services, including drafting TORs and work specifications
• Collect data during implementation, prepare regular progress and annual reports, and ensure timely submission of progress reports and background documents
• Manage financial resources and ensure quality, timely financial reporting and proper documentation for audits
• Maintain working relations with key national partners such as the Ministry of Economy and Innovation and the Albanian Association of Banks, and with international organizations and other UNDP programmes
• Prepare thematic reports, blogs and insights, and project briefs presenting results
• Set up a monitoring and evaluation system with data collection protocols and gender considerations, and document lessons learned and good practices
• Contribute data and insights to support the expansion of private-sector development initiatives and to mainstream gender across activities, work plans, budgets and reports
