Senior Reporting & Accounting Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Reporting & Accounting Specialist to lead key finance and accounting activities during a 1‑year maternity‑leave cover. You will work in a well‑established finance environment, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting while collaborating across functions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead month‑end closing activities, including accruals, provisions, reversals and related adjustments.
• Prepare, review and deliver accurate monthly financial reports.
• Oversee intercompany invoicing, reconciliations and follow‑up to ensure alignment.
• Register, reconcile and monitor bank statements and control balances in SAP.
• Contribute to business planning and forecasting processes with reliable financial input.
• Perform controlling activities, reviewing and correcting interim accounts in SAP.
• Ensure compliance with internal accounting procedures, IFRS, financial controls and reporting standards.
• Support audit activities for financial statements.

Required profile

• Approximately 5 years of experience in accounting, financial reporting and controlling, preferably in an international setting.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practical application in daily finance operations.
• High attention to detail, analytical mindset and ability to work independently within structured processes and deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills and proven ability to collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders.
• Basic German language skills are a plus.
