Reporter – News & Feature Journalism

About the role

Bliss is seeking a full‑time Reporter to join its Tirana office. You will cover stories at the intersection of mental health, diaspora communities, and technology, producing accurate and engaging content for our digital platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Research and report news, features, and human‑interest stories relevant to Bliss’s mission.
• Conduct interviews with clinicians, clients (when appropriate), subject‑matter experts, and community members.
• Write clear, factual, and compelling articles for online publication.
• Verify information, fact‑check sources, and maintain ethical standards.
• Collaborate with editors, marketers, and clinical staff to refine narratives.
• Produce short multimedia pieces such as video clips or audio segments when needed.
• Participate in editorial meetings and coordinate with cross‑functional teams.

Required profile

• Strong reporting abilities, including research, interviewing, and source development.
• Excellent written communication with a focus on clarity and accuracy.
• Ability to meet deadlines in a fast‑paced newsroom environment.
• Commitment to culturally sensitive, non‑discriminatory reporting and confidentiality.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Tirana.
