Junior IT Application Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Junior IT Application Specialist to provide day‑to‑day support for SAP HCM within Deloitte’s HR systems landscape. You will work in a hybrid environment, collaborating with internal customers, senior consultants and other subject‑matter experts to ensure smooth operation of HR applications.

Key responsibilities

• Provide application support for SAP HCM, handling incidents and service requests via the ticketing system.
• Analyze, troubleshoot and resolve issues, coordinating with internal stakeholders to clarify requirements and deliver status updates.
• Execute operational procedures, including regular system health checks and compliance monitoring.
• Monitor cross‑system interfaces to guarantee data accuracy and consistency.
• Support reporting and data analysis activities to enhance operational transparency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent collaboration, interpersonal and communication skills in English.
• Commitment to quality, reliability and continuous improvement.

Required skills

• SAP HCM (Personnel Administration, Organizational Management, Payroll integrations).
• SAP ERP knowledge.
• Experience with ITSM/ticketing tools such as ServiceNow or similar.
• Familiarity with HR systems integration and data reconciliation processes.
